Fridays Beach Resort Boracay - Boracay White Beach

The white beach, the crystal clear water, the ideal weather - the perfect setting for a perfect island get-away, if only the resort will be as good.

This is what worries most backpackers about to trek to Boracay. Most tourists are not concerned with the quality of the beach itself (after all, it IS Boracay.) but rather with the quality (or the lack of it) of the accommodation they will be having once they get to Boracay.

Fortunately, there are resorts like Fridays that give justice to the near-perfect beauty of Boracay, one of the best beaches not only in the Philippines but in the world.

Fridays Resort started in 1982 with only two cottages. Now it is one of the best resorts the island has to offer with its 40 native cottage-style rooms, a freshwater swimming pool and the best restaurant in the whole of Boracay.

Although natively themed, Fridays Resort's rooms and facilities are equipped with modern amenities.

Aside from the basic services any decent resort should have like cable TV, DVD players, air conditioning and phone service, Fridays also has facilities not just any decent resort would have like an in-room safe, WIFI service and a game room complete with Playstation 2, ping-pong and billiard tables.

Though these material perks provided by the resort are one of the finest, Fridays Resort is much, much more recognized for its service staff.

Guests are well taken care off right from the moment they step out of the airport where a Transfer Officer sent by Fridays Resort will greet them right away and be the guide on the way to the island. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a shell necklace and a glass of thirst quenching lemonade.

Aside from the friendly staff, professional chefs also man the award winning restaurant of the resort. Non-English speaking foreign tourists on the other hand, need not despair because Fridays has foreign language interpreters (Japanese, Korean and most European languages) in stand by.

Lastly, and as if being in Boracay is not enough, Fridays is actually positioned in one of the finest beaches on the planet. Fridays resort's beachfront lies on the northern end of the four kilometer long white sand beach of Boracay. Imagine the world known white talcum-fine sand beach simply lying in front of your lodging!

The different three days/ two nights packages offered by Fridays Resort range from 39,000 to 58,000 pesos, depending whether it is low season which is more or less from July to October, high season which is from October to June and the peak seasons which are generally from December to January, the first week of February and the Lenten season which often falls on the last two weeks of March.
