Amanpulo Resort

If you would love to go out of the city and find a quiet place to relax, Boracay is not the place to go. One drawback of going to Boracay is that it has become much commercialized. If one is looking for a quiet place to unwind and just enjoy nature, Palawan’s resorts are better for you.

One of the best places to enjoy some peace and quiet in Palawan is the Amanpulo resort.

Amanpulo is a resort that is set on its own private island surrounded by white-sand beaches, coral reefs and turquoise waters. The name Amanpulo is really the best description for this resort. Because Amanpulo means peaceful Island and this is one of the best ways to enjoy some peace. There have been some claims that even some Hollywood celebrities who go there to relax.

The resort has 40 casitas that measure 65 square meters that could either be located on the hillside or the beachfront. The casitas re modeled after the native houses of the Filipinos called Bahay Kubos. The rooms also have ample space for a large bathroom. The place will not seclude you however from the world because TV and satellite cable is available in the rooms.

They have 29 beach casitas that all have a private path that lead directly to the white sand beach. The beach will provide you a great experience because of the fine white sand and a view on the neighboring islands. They also offer tree-top casitas that are on a higher ground. All of which are above the tree line. They also have Deluxe Hillside and Hillside casitas. All of which offer a view of the sea and the deluxe offers a view of the Sulu Sea that also has sunrise and sunset views. For people who still want more privacy the beach resort offers two kinds of Villas; The beach front and the garden villa.

The restaurant in Amanpulo usually carries a menu consisting of Asian, Continental and fresh sea food meals. You can enjoy your meal more because the restaurant is situated where the diner can have a view of the Manamoc Islands.

The resort also has other facilities such as a swimming pool, libraries, beach huts and clubs, lagoon retreats, boutique and galleries, massage and beauty services and meeting rooms.

Amanpulo resort ensures that the person will get to have his or her own free time. They ensure the visitor that he or she will be able to relax without any hassles from the staff and make the visitor feel totally refreshed when he or she gets back to the Metro.
